Webinar “Readiness of building industry stakeholders in welcoming the Net Zero Healthy Building”
Net Zero Building is a building concept that has emission-free performance during the building’s operating life. This can be achieved with very low energy requirements, and these energy needs can be met from renewable energy. With the implementation of Net Zero Building, it is expected that the level of emissions generated by buildings can be drastically reduced. World GBC launched the Net Zero Advancing program with a target that all new buildings will operate at a net zero level by 2030 and all buildings will operate at a net zero level by 2050.
With the outbreak of a pandemic, the awareness that we need buildings that can ensure the health and comfort of residents has significantly increased. Currently, the implementation of Net Zero Building in Indonesia is still very early and it is very necessary to accelerate this movement. In this regard, GBC Indonesia, supported by the Ministry of Environment and Forestry and in partnership with the Global Building Performance Network is organising a webinar “Readiness of building industry stakeholders in welcoming the Net Zero Healthy Building.”
The webinar will:
- Provide an understanding of Net Zero Healthy Building
- Provide insight into the implementation of Net Zero Healthy Building
- Provide a view of the readiness of stakeholders in the building industry in implementing a Net Zero healthy Building
- Provide input in designing a policy related to Net Zero Healthy Building
