An architecture graduate and a building technologies specialist, Mili has more than two decades of experience in the field of energy, green buildings, climate resilient housing, city planning, urban transportation and environment with a focus on sustainable development of habitats.
I Nyoman Satya Kumara, Ph.D

Satya Kumara has been educated in Indonesia and the UK and taught subjects including Power Electronics, Electric Drive, Electrical Energy Conversion Technology, Renewable Energy Technology, Smart grid, Energy Management, and English in Electrical Engineering. His research interests include electric drive, renewable energy, energy management, and smart systems.
Dr Sunita Purushottam
GBPN Board Member, Head of Sustainability at Mahindra Lifespace Developers
Dr. Purushottam is a Fellow of the Royal Met Society, London, and Certified GHG emissions quantifier. She has over 25 years of sustainability strategy and environmental consultancy experience in the areas of environmental impact assessment; air pollution modelling and meteorology; GHG emissions inventory and carbon offsets; carbon neutrality strategy; waste management strategy; and water risk, technology solutions for sustainability and CSR. Sunita has worked with regulatory bodies in the UK and India and has a deep understanding of Climate Change Science and adaptation.
Ms. Jane Henley

At the forefront of International Green Building movement for more than 13 years, Jane lead the World Green Building Council from 2010-2015 as doubled its size. Jane has advised governments on Green Building policies, participated in a number of UNFCCC COPs, as well as advised on UN 10YFP program development. She was a director of the United Nations Sustainable Building Climate Initiative (UNEP-SBCI) and acted as Chairperson of the popular ‘Business Case for Green Building (2013). Jane is valued for her business and finance perspective gained through her time with the International Finance Corporation (IFC), part of the World Bank Group.
Dr. Lee Siew Eang
GBPN board member, Co-director of the Building Energy Efficiency Hub at the National University of Singapore (NUS)
Trained as a building scientist, Dr. Lee works in the areas of building energy performance and acoustics at the Department of Building, National University of Singapore (NUS). He is co-director of the Building Energy Efficiency Hub at NUS—a strategic initiative at the University aiming at reducing energy consumption on campus. As consultant, Dr. Lee and his team have participated in many multiple awards winning projects. He was the chair of the board of judges for ASEAN Energy Efficient Building Awards, and was awarded the ASEAN Ministers’ Meeting Award for Excellence in Energy Management.
Prof. Ir. Linawati, MEngSc. PhD
Dean of Engineering Faculty, Udayana University
Linawati was an executive director of Global Development Learning Network (GDLN) for nine years and was actively involved in developing e-learning, m-learning, and distance learning in Udayana University in collaboration with higher education institutions in Indonesia and in Asia Pacific under the World Bank support. She won many research funding and has been published in International Conferences, and Journals. She chaired international conferences, workshops, focus group discussions, seminars, and trainings which involved wide range of professionals with many backgrounds.
Dr. Ery Wijaya
Indonesia Country Manager – GBPN
Dr. Muhammad Ery Wijaya leads the GBPN Indonesia-based Team, including high-level GBPN representation in the country and building relationships with Governments, local key partners and stakeholders. Ery is an expert in energy policy and financing. He has supported the Indonesian government to develop first-of-its-kind assessments of viable energy efficiency business models, energy efficiency project financing guidelines, and enabling policies for energy efficiency programs. He has been working for more than 10 years to support innovative financing instruments and scaling up finance for renewable energy and energy efficiency. Prior to joining GBPN, he worked for almost 8 years at Climate Policy Initiative (CPI).
Sandra Pranoto
Senior Advisor of GBPN
Sandra Pranoto is an advocate of green building, policy reforms, and investment climate with over 20 years of professional experience in managing various projects in Indonesia and East Asia. At GBPN, Sandra’s various contributions also include HIDUP Policy Reform, where she supports developing and implementing a policy roadmap toward decarbonising the building sector in Indonesia. Sandra worked with the International Finance Corporation (IFC) for over 15 years. Before that, she led a range of advisory services projects in IFC, working with high-level national and sub-national regulators as well as the private sector, donors, and business associations.
Dr. Peter Graham
Executive Director of GBPN & Associate Professor in Architecture at Monash University
Dr. Peter Graham has 20 years experience in international advocacy, research and education in sustainable building design, construction, evaluation and policy. His career in sustainable building spans all levels of the industry, from the construction site to university, and from boardrooms to international negotiations. He is the Executive Director of the Global Buildings Performance Network and an Associate Professor in Architecture at Monash University, Australia. Previously he has been the Technical Advisor and past Coordinator of the United Nations Environment Programme’s (UNEP) Sustainable Buildings and Climate Initiative and has a long career in Australian academia.
Prof. Ida Ayu Dwi Giriantari, Ph.D.
Head of CORE Udayana
Ida Ayu Dwi Giriantari is Professor in the Electrical Engineering Department at Udayana University, Indonesia. She leads the Center for Community Based Renewable Energy (CORE) at Udayana University, which is one of seven centres of excellence in the PETUAH consortium. Her expertise straddles between Renewable Energy, Energy Management, Energy tariff, Photovoltaic, Smart Grid, High Voltage Technology, and Electric Circuit. She is a leading expert in her space and has been recognised both locally and internationally for her leadership and innovation, including in the USA.
Associate Professor Eka Permanasari
Associate Professor at Monash University, Indonesia
Eka Permanasari has led international research such as Cross-cultural Community-based Strategies for Sustainable Urban Streams in Des Moines and Jakarta, as well as the impact of the new Indonesian capital on the communities and surrounding cities. She is a researcher and has led several strategic national projects for the Jakarta government, such as the Giant Sea Wall Jakarta coastal development, the integration of Jakarta MRT and LRT lines, and Jakarta TOD urban renewal projects. As a faculty member, she has published in high-ranked journals and has also attracted research funding. She is based in Berlin, Germany.
