Background info about our Research on Deep Renovation:
What is deep renovation? What analytical framework is required to develop deep renovation policy packages? What are the state of the art best practice policies that can help deliver deep renovation worldwide? There is a lack of common definitions and global targets on the issue of deep renovation and this hampers the achievement of the large energy saving potentials from existing buildings.
The GBPN global research on Deep Renovation attempts to investigate these questions by involving regional and international experts in the search for common ground and best practice policies. A series of three GBPN webinars will bring together top leading experts in the field in order to clarify definitions, harmonize methodologies, and set up common criteria for selecting best practice policies for Deep Renovation. The GBPN webinars will also provide experts with the opportunity to share current US and European best practices.
